Honnorable our beloved teacher,

Honorable our friends that also I love,

Good morning, how are you this morning. First of all, I’d like to thank to our god who has given us his blessings. I also thank to the teacher and friends.

Ladies and gentlemen, today I’d like to deliver my speech about the danger of global warming.

What is the meaning of global warming? National Wildlife Federation defined global warming as a condition where the earth gets hotter, the rain, storm and flood get heavier, and the dry happens in many places. Global warming can change the landscape in the earth and kill many species.

There are many reasons why the global warming happens. The reasons include green house effect, electrical overconsuming, fossil fuels, air pollution from industries and factories, felled jungels, and etc.

What is the danger of global warming? Global warming is very dangerous to us. Our live as mankind would be threatened by changes caused by global warming. The freshwater would be hard to obtain (there would be 20% people in the world are able to use the water). The disaster, such as flood, storm, and dryness would happen more frequently. Many new diseases would appear, and the surface of sea increase, and etc.

And then, how to get rid of the danger of global warming? There are many ways to do it. At first, we must plant the trees or plants around us. We should use the public transportations or bike to go to other places. If the place we would to go is not far from us, we are better to ride the bike or by feet. By riding public transportations, we can reduce pollution caused by CO₂ and prevent traffic jam in the street. The electric usage must be reduced, and we must use electrical tools only as long as we need. Don’t open the fridge too much. The rooms inside the fridge contain many CFC which are able to break ozone layers in the atmosphere. The damage of atmosphere trrigers the fall of gigantic meteors, so the life in earth would be gone.
